- This listing is for 1 Ford BIG BLOCK Oil Filter insert. This is for the 385 series engines (460, etc).
- This part does NOT FIT FE series big block For Ford engines such as the 390 and 427.
- This item threads into the engine block, and the oil filter then threads onto it.
- These are perfect for replacing damaged units, or deleting an oil cooler.
- Tech Tip: Unlike the oddball 11mm Allen wrench the Ford part requires for installation, ours is 1/2" hex. Simply use a 1/2" bolt (like an intake bolt off of almost every Small Block Ford), thread a nut onto it, and turn it in with a 1/2" wrench. Easy!
