Shelby GT350/R Oil Filter Socket
Cut time down on your 2015-2017 Shelby GT350/R oil change with this oil filter socket! The Shelby GT350 and GT350R require the new oil filter to be torqued down after an oil change. This is due to the harmonics that the flat plane crank engine generates. If the oil filter is not torqued down, the filter will vibrate and fall off. This oil filter socket will make things easier by allowing you to properly torque the oil filter down. The socket attaches to any 1/2" drive torque wrench and provides multiple contact points for a secure fit. Featuring a stamped steel construction, this filter socket is built to last.
Fitment Note
This filter socket fits engines built February of 2017 and earlier. Engines built after February 2017 had cartridge style filter. Please check your engine prior to purchasing.
Installation Note
The Shelby GT350/R oil filter must be torqued to 18 lb/ft.
