We have created custom Fittings to tie into the Stock LT and LS Dry-Sump-Engine-Pan to Dry-Sump-Tank Return Line for oil coolers etc added to any GM dry sump system which uses the factory shaped fittings pictured above and below. This will allow you to add air-to-oil coolers or larger auxiliary oil-to-water heat exchangers to your vehicle and will NOT negatively affect engine . Also perfect for LT/LS engine swaps into other vehicles with other dry sump tanks and/or oil coolers. Other oil cooler systems are tying into the oil cooler brick location on the bottom of the LT engines adds a restriction to the oiling system, and drops the oil pressure to the actual oil squirters in the motor and the engine's bearings .  This also leaves the oil unfiltered after it passes through the oil cooler.  Instead, our fittings ensure all oil that goes through the oil cooler is then filtered by the filter. If a person wants to tie into the oil cooler brick location to attach an auxiliary oil cooler, then we highly suggest upgrading to the Katech High Flow Engine Oil Pump which will more than compensate for the drop from the auxiliary oil-to-air heat exchanger. Otherwise, if a person does not want to upgrade to the Katech High Flow Oil Pump, then we suggest these fittings in the video below if the person wishes to add auxiliary oil coolers to their vehicle Notice that these fittings are singular, not paired like the others you will find for sale on the internet. We are the only vendor who carries these single fittings. You do NOT want the 2-in-1-piece-paired-fittings because they reduce the feed line diameter as it is impossible to put 2 AN-16 hose fittings next to each other due to GM's close proximity of the ports at the Dry-Sump-PAN and the Dry-Sump-TANK. The only way to retain the -16 feed hose is to ONLY replace the return hose with the fittings we are offering . The money saved is also tremendous, as it is over double the cost to use the good 2-in-1 fittings, (Peterson Fluid Systems is the ONLY other company on the planet who does the proper length male fitting, everything else is shallow or no male fitting that we found to leak or lack lateral strength if the oil line under the car hits road debris.) Those Peterson fittings are over $140 per fitting, plus you will still have to purchase the -AN fittings to attach at all 4 locations, plus you will be reducing to a -12 feed line, and paying for the inferior thinner feed line. The reason we used a -12 is for 2 reasons, First is the line has a dedicated scavenger pump, so it can flow oil fine, unlike the feed line which is gravity fed . Second, GM places the 2 fitting's ports so close to each other on the engine pan that a -16 hose fitting has clearance issues with the feed line next to it, the 2 hex fittings collide side to side. This is why no one offers a -16 fitting for this location. These reasons are better shown and explained in the video below. Upgrade to an aftermarket oil cooler with confidence, and also feel free to use these fittings to re-route your already existing oil coolers on LS and LT engines, to the dry sump return line, and keep your engine oil pressure at its max!
