Using this style cap requires drilling a hole or cutting a notch in the side of the cover for clearance. Note: We don't permanently attach the cover to the cap, so our customers have more options, including: painting or powder coating the cover, shortening the cover, fitting it to a cap with a breather hose, or adapting it to a gas cap, radiator cap, or some completely different application . The cover fits nicely over the cover, but will require you to use an adhesive to stick the cover to the cap to make permanent. Epoxy, JB weld, gorilla glue, liquid nails and other products have all been sucessfuly used. Aussiespeed cast alloy breather cap cover designed to slip over after market chrome push in style breather cap(included), this ultra large finned cover matches other raked fin products in the Aussiespeed range. The cover is a hand polished bright aluminum finish. As this is a cast item there is taper on the internal dimensions, measured in the center: 42mm deep, 37mm outer inside edge, 72mm inner opening diameter. I'm Cory. I own and operate Small Town Speed LLC. I'm also a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider and hot rodder. I started Small Town Speed to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing all of my projects. So I can really relate to my customers, but with that said, I don't have regular Monday-Friday 9-5 shop hours. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. I treat other gear heads how I would want to be treated; but I ask that you do the same for me in two ways. 1- having realistic expectations when buying limited production parts. 2- if something is not right; let me know and give me a chance to make it right for you before opening a dispute or leaving feedback. I've never had anybody who has contacted me with an issue not end up completely satisfied.   I aim for 5 star service 100% of the time.
